A Banner is All You Need to Let Them Know You

Just as many people have an innate desire to get recognized, companies also want to be distinguished from the rest of the crowd, especially in big cities like Toronto. They go through great lengths just to stand out among the rest, such as creating a catchy motto or coming up with a memorable logo. However, even a simple banner stand is enough to give companies a unique character, provided that they are made very well.

Banner stands are an advertising tool that are used primarily in exhibits, conventions, and trade shows. They disseminate information about the company’s products, services, and policies using a layout of words and pictures. They usually incorporate the company's trademarks, such as logo and color-scheme, to attract attention, although some banners simply use lights and attachable accessories to achieve the same effect.

As advertising tools, banner stands can also be used as catalogs that showcase the products and services that customers can purchase from a company, i.e., as “point-of-purchase” advertising. Most banner stands are also retractable to make them easy to setup and transport. This is the primary advantage that they have over more “trendy” advertising gimmicks such as TV displays and computer screens, which require electricity, elaborate stands, and a long setup time in order to be effective.
